Web Designer

The purpose of this Web Designer role is to conceptualise and create compelling visual designs for print advertisements and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

This is an on-site role in George, Western Cape. There is a strong sense of accountability and pride across the team. This is a stable position with long-term prospects for committed candidates. The setup is well-organised, with clear expectations and steady support. Qualified candidates are encouraged to get their applications in early.

• Use industry-standard design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-resolution artwork and prepare files for publication.
• Stay updated with current design trends, software developments, and industry best practices to continuously improve creative output.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines without compromising creative quality.
• Edit and retouch photographs and digital images to enhance visual quality and meet required specifications for the output medium.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, mechanical, or interior design projects with dimensional accuracy.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials for interior projects, sourcing from suppliers and managing procurement budgets.

• For CAD roles, demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar software with a portfolio of technical drawings.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet multiple deadlines across various projects.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing polished, pixel-perfect work that exceeds client expectations.
• A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communication, interior design, multimedia, or a related creative field.
• For interior design roles, knowledge of building regulations, space planning standards, and experience specifying materials and finishes.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and familiarity with tools such as Sketch or Figma.
• A minimum of one to three years of professional design experience supported by a strong portfolio showing creativity and technical competence.
