Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will conceptualise and create compelling visual designs for print advertisements, edit and retouch photographs and digital images to enhance visual quality and use industry-standard design software.

• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials for interior projects, sourcing from suppliers and managing procurement budgets.
• Design wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for websites and applications, applying user experience principles throughout.
• Edit and retouch photographs and digital images to enhance visual quality and meet required specifications for the output medium.
• Use industry-standard design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-resolution artwork and prepare files for publication.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, mechanical, or interior design projects with dimensional accuracy.
• Conceptualise and create compelling visual designs for print advertisements, digital banners, social media content, and brand identities.
• Stay updated with current design trends, software developments, and industry best practices to continuously improve creative output.

• Strong understanding of design principles including colour theory, typography, layout, and composition and ability to apply them effectively.
• For CAD roles, demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar software with a portfolio of technical drawings.
• A minimum of one to three years of professional design experience supported by a strong portfolio showing creativity and technical competence.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing polished, pixel-perfect work that exceeds client expectations.
• For interior design roles, knowledge of building regulations, space planning standards, and experience specifying materials and finishes.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and familiarity with tools such as Sketch or Figma.
