The purpose of this Waitress role is to prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and manage inventory and stock control.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, fire safety, and liquor licensing.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, taking immediate corrective action and following up for satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory and stock control for food, beverages, and consumables, conducting regular stock takes and placing orders.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort to tables, present menus, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor revenue and costs, and implement measures to maximise profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Oversee all daily operations including opening and closing procedures, staff deployment, and ensuring readiness for service.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and responsible serving practices.
Requirements
  • A well-groomed and professional appearance reflecting the high standards expected in a premium hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as the hospitality industry demands.
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or equivalent practical experience in the hospitality industry.
  • For bartender roles, comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and the responsible service of alcohol.
  • For chef positions, formal culinary training and experience in a professional kitchen preparing food for high-volume service.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with ability to handle difficult situations and complaints with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel, lodge, or events venue.
