Production Worker

The Production Worker will record production data, adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and package finished products.

This position is based in Paarl, Western Cape. There is genuine scope to shape the role and make it your own. The team values honesty, hard work, and treating every customer with respect. Shift work and overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

• Assemble products or components on the production line following work instructions, achieving daily output targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods between workstations and storage areas using trolleys or pallet jacks.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, quality defects, or safety hazards to the shift supervisor immediately to prevent injuries and production delays.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures including wearing prescribed personal protective equipment such as safety boots, goggles, and gloves.
• Package finished products by labelling, boxing, and palletising according to customer specifications and dispatch requirements.
• Record production data including output quantities, downtime, and quality check results on daily production sheets.

• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a noisy or temperature-controlled environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to read work instructions, complete production records, and understand safety signage.
• Good attention to detail to identify product defects and quality issues during in-process checks.
• Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to standard operating procedures without deviation.
