Factory Worker

We currently have an opening for a Factory Worker in Springs, Gauteng and want to hear from committed candidates. The ideal candidate is dependable, practical, and comfortable working to deadlines.

Shift work and overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times.
• Set up workstations with required materials, tools, and components at the start of each shift to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Assemble products or components on the production line following work instructions, achieving daily output targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Record production data including output quantities, downtime, and quality check results on daily production sheets.
• Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods between workstations and storage areas using trolleys or pallet jacks.

• Good attention to detail to identify product defects and quality issues during in-process checks.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety rules and wearing prescribed protective equipment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to read work instructions, complete production records, and understand safety signage.
• Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to standard operating procedures without deviation.
