Project Manager

The Project Manager will facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports, identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and conduct project closure activities.

This is an on-site role in Mahikeng, North West. The team is tight-knit, dependable, and quick to support one another. The culture is down-to-earth, with a real focus on getting things right. • Conduct project closure activities including lessons learned sessions, final reporting, and handover of deliverables to operations.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities and tracking progress.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria through quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders including clients, sponsors, team members, and vendors, ensuring clear communication.
• Estimate and manage project budgets and resources, tracking actual expenditure against forecasts and implementing corrective actions.

• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in managing projects of increasing complexity in the relevant industry sector.
• Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies with ability to apply the appropriate approach.
• A bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to make sound judgements under pressure.
• Strong financial acumen including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for projects.
