Labourer

The Labourer will follow all health and safety rules, carry out general manual labour tasks as directed by and operate basic machinery.

You will be based at the Kempton Park operation in Gauteng. The workplace values doing things properly over cutting corners. The business is growing, and capable people grow with it. We would love to see your CV if this role speaks to you.

• Operate basic machinery and equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and strapping machines after receiving appropriate training.
• Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or product defects to the supervisor or team leader immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sweeping floors, removing waste, and storing tools and equipment properly.
• Assist skilled workers such as mechanics, electricians, or builders by fetching tools, holding materials, and providing general support.
• Feed raw materials into production machinery and remove finished products from the line for packing and dispatch.
• Follow all health and safety rules including wearing the required personal protective equipment at all times.

• For warehouse roles, experience operating a forklift with a valid licence is highly desirable.
• A clear criminal record may be required depending on the nature of the workplace and client requirements.
• A Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate is preferred though not always essential depending on the specific role.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual work including lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.
