HR Manager

The HR Manager will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, maintain and update the HR information system and employee files and manage employee relations matters.

This is an on-site role in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. The team prides itself on professionalism and consistently meeting commitments. • Provide advice to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation for fair application.
• Maintain and update the HR information system and employee files, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with data protection.
• Support organisational change initiatives including restructuring, succession planning, and culture transformation programmes.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports including Employment Equity Reports, Skills Development Levy claims, and Workplace Skills Plans.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and timeously, ensuring all earnings, deductions, and statutory contributions are correct.

• For recruitment roles, proven ability to source candidates using various methods and experience with applicant tracking systems.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• A minimum of two to five years of progressive experience in a generalist or specialist HR role within an organisation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• A diploma or degree in human resource management, industrial psychology, or a related field from a recognised institution.
