Job Description

The purpose of this Brand Manager role is to monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like and manage the marketing budget effectively.

This position is based in Polokwane, Limpopo. It is a busy, practical environment where no two days look quite the same. There is real scope for growth and skills development for the right person. We look forward to receiving applications from candidates who meet the criteria.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to increase brand exposure and credibility.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats informing marketing strategy.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, tracking expenditure and ensuring return on marketing investment is measured and maximised.
  • Plan and execute events including product launches, trade shows, conferences, and experiential marketing activations.
  • Manage the company's digital marketing channels including websites, social media platforms, email marketing, and paid digital advertising.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives and target audience insights.
  • Manage brand identity and ensure consistency of messaging, visual presentation, and tone of voice across all communication materials.
Requirements
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling with ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing challenges.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • For management roles, experience leading a team and managing external agencies, freelancers, and marketing budgets.
  • A minimum of two to four years of marketing experience, either agency-side or client-side, with a proven track record of campaign success.
  • Strong digital marketing skills including SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
