Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and internal teams to ensure alignment between marketing activities and business objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, tracking expenditure and ensuring return on marketing investment is measured and maximised.
  • Plan and execute events including product launches, trade shows, conferences, and experiential marketing activations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to increase brand exposure and credibility.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing actionable optimisation recommendations.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats informing marketing strategy.
  • Manage brand identity and ensure consistency of messaging, visual presentation, and tone of voice across all communication materials.
Requirements
  • Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting marketing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
  • For management roles, experience leading a team and managing external agencies, freelancers, and marketing budgets.
  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling with ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing challenges.
  • Strong digital marketing skills including SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field from a recognised tertiary institution.
