PMO Coordinator

To develop and manage detailed project schedules using project management software and identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers, a company in De Aar, Northern Cape is seeking a PMO Coordinator.

• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders including clients, sponsors, team members, and vendors, ensuring clear communication.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria through quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining registers and implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Conduct project closure activities including lessons learned sessions, final reporting, and handover of deliverables to operations.
• Manage project changes through a formal change control process, assessing impact on scope, schedule, and budget before approval.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and direct cross-functional project teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in managing projects of increasing complexity in the relevant industry sector.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com for planning and tracking.
• Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies with ability to apply the appropriate approach.
